New this year, any individual is eligible to participate in the 3-point contest for a $20 fee. $20 will give you one (1) entry into the contest. The winner will receive $500.
1. Each shooter will have 60 seconds to shoot 5 balls from five racks positioned around the 3- point line. Each shooter may begin at either corner of the court. The clock will start on the shooters first release.
2. The first four balls on each rack are worth 1 point and the fifth ball on each rack 2 points. A shooter must have both feet behind the three point line when he/she releases the ball.
3. A shooter's total score is determined by adding the total points he/she receives for all made baskets from behind the three point line within the 60 second time frame.
4. In the event of a tie, the contestants will have a shoot off at the top of the key.
*For any student athletes entered into the contest, please consult your division rules regarding accepting monetary prizes.
