Collin had a contagious smile that could light up a room. All those who were blessed to have been a part of his life, friends or even strangers would say how thoughtful and kind he was. Those closest to him would say he lived each day to the fullest. Collin loved spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved playing FIFA, 1 on 1 basketball in his driveway and watching movies. He had the unique talent of being able to quote every Quentin Tarantino movie.
Collin spent his time in the summer volunteering for The Miracle League. He created special relationships with many of the kids. He always looked forward to the games and spending time with his buddies. The Miracle League was near and dear to him and his family. Soon Collin will be inducted into their Hall of Fame.
Collin had a love for basketball at an early age. He would spend countless hours playing his dad, his brothers and his friends in his driveway. He was the king of 1 on 1. He spent his grade school years at St. Andrew learning the game and honing his skills. He went on to play at St. Charles Preparatory School and several AAU teams. Collin always gave 110%. Collin's favorite basketball player was Kobe Bryant, aka The Black Mamba, whom he thought was the G.O.A.T. We honor Collin with this 3 on 3 tournament and hope that everyone will enjoy the game as much as he did.
Collin came from a large loving family. He was the middle child of Kathleen and Wade Wiant. He had four siblings, Austin, Olivia, Aidan and Ava. They were always very active in the community, especially St. Andrew where they attended school and church. They enjoyed spending time together, taking vacations and celebrating holidays with family and friends. The Wiant family loved sports of all kinds. Over the years Collin and his siblings each played several sports for St. Andrew and their high schools, spending their family time cheering on each other. Collin loved his family more than anything.
